What the Business Debit Mastercard offers

The card can be used to withdraw cash and make payments at POS sites marked with the Mastercard signs in Slovenia and abroad. The daily spending limit on the card is set by the legal representative for each cardholder separately. To make a payment, you will need to provide your signature or enter your PIN number.

How to apply for a card

You can apply for a card on opening a transaction account. If you already have a business account with UniCredit Bank, you need to fill in the Application for issue a Business Debit Mastercard World. Deliver the completed application to the UniCredit Bank branch where your company’s transaction account is held. For detailed information, please contact your banking advisor.

Card loss or theft

Report the loss or theft of your card at the nearest UniCredit Banka Slovenija d.d. branch or by calling the Payment Cards Centre on +386 1 5834 183.

What does Business payement card Mastercard World Elite offer
  • Deferred payment. Your card has a monthly limit and the spending is settled with a direct debit on the company’s transaction company every 8th day of the month or the next working day.
  • Insurance on domestic and international business trips. You can choose from Standard insurance, which protects you against card misuse, and Above-standard insurance, where your card is insured against misuse while you are provided accident insurance, liability insurance, insurance for your luggage and personal belongings and insurance against additional expenses in the event of a flight delay.
  • Secure payments. These are ensured by the security chip and the SMS alert service.
  • Cashless payments in Slovenia and abroad. Payments can be made in over 210 countries and territories worldwide and at over 100 million POS sites.
  • Transparency of operations. You can monitor your Mastercard card transactions using the monthly statements which are sent to the card user.

How to apply for a card

Customers who already have a business transaction account with UniCredit Bank simply submit the following to the bank:

  • Application for a Business Payment Mastercard World Elite
  • Application for Approving a Provisional Monthly Spending Limit

New customers also need to submit:

  • Application for Opening a Transaction Account
